Goldeneye is British made not American. But I like both styles of games west and japs. Makes life more interesting with what different cultures come up with. I have always thought of res evil games were very western in the way they are styled.
low usage is because all the ps3 owners are on this site talking about how much better there console is, instead of playing it. LOL nah only joking it's the lowest because it has a lower install base. Plus xbox live sucks up a lot of hours on multiplayer. Until recently the ps3 has lacked these addictive online games. Resistance 2 and lbp Is a step in The right direction though. Then there's the cod games.
I knew this back when the N64 was competing with the psone. It made me laugh telling the Sony fanboys back then that the psone was an old nintendo side project. Fanboys have been around ever since there have been competing products. My consoles better than yours, vw golfs better than a seat leo, pc's better than mac, etc etc etc

Gears 1 was one of the first 360 games to reach number one in the charts in japan, I think of sold something like 33.000 altogether. It didn't stay there for very long mind.
To the person who disagreed with me you obviously don't play games for enjoyment do you, go watch a film if your care more about a story, or a least give me a reason for your disagree.
Honestly and truthfully i couldn't care less. I did play the first gears because of its amazing story it was just great fun. Loads of great games have weak story lines Mario games are hardly in depth story games but there still brilliant.
At the end of the day a great story lasts one play-threw maybe two (might of missed stuff the first time threw) the fun lasts a lot longer.

But you sony fanboys are no better sometimes, stop complaining about how much gears 2 sucks and actually play the game before slamming it. I will be getting LBP though it does look fantastic, even more proud that its a British game too.

I'm Confused, I heard they banned the first gears in Germany as well. Yet I encounter them all the time whilst playing gears on live. Do the Germans import the game from Austria or something?
Theres a few levels with snow in gears 2. Hopefully the flamethrower melts the snow. Its no big issue if it doesnt but..... it would be really cool.
Arh man! this was going to tide me over until gears two comes out now there going to freaking clash Grrrrrrr. I cant get fable 2 because RPGS take forever to complete and i like to devoute a lot of time playing them. Waht else is out that week???
